Privacy Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This policy explains what personal information N-Deavour Alignment collects through this website (ndeavour.ca), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. N-Deavour Alignment is a sole proprietorship operated by Ninian Dougall in British Columbia, Canada. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. Who is responsible

Ninian Dougall is responsible for personal information collected through this site. Questions, access requests, corrections and deletion requests go to nindougall@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • What you send us. If you use the contact form: your name, email address, an optional area of interest, and the description you write. If you email us directly: your email address and whatever you include.
  • Technical information from your visit. Our hosting provider automatically records your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. We use this to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We don't ask for payment details, government identification or health information through this site. Please don't include client, patient or other sensitive personal information in the contact form.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, talk about possible work together.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence.
  • To keep the website working and secure.

We don't sell or rent personal information, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We use two service providers to run this site and our correspondence:

  • Netlify, Inc. hosts the website. It also receives and stores contact form submissions so that we can read them and be notified by email.
  • Google provides the email service (Gmail) that receives form notifications and our correspondence.

This site's typeface is served from the site itself, and the site loads no scripts, fonts or other resources from third parties. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local law. We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and tracking

We don't use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking on this site. See the Cookie Notice for details.

6. Other N-Deavour tools

If we offer a self-assessment or other tool on a separate website, that tool has its own privacy notice. This policy covers only ndeavour.ca.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement are deleted once we no longer need them. You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier at any time.

8. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to submitted information is limited to Ninian Dougall. No online system is completely secure, so please keep sensitive details out of the contact form.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and stop using it (withdraw your consent). Email nindougall@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

10. Client engagements

Personal information we handle while carrying out paid work for a client is governed by the written agreement for that engagement, in addition to the law. This policy covers only information collected through this website.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
